Nam Becomes the First Repeat Red Jacket Winner at WWO VIII

Ocean City Maryland has shown Chuck Nam some Southern hospitality. Nam won for the second time in his tour career -- all in the Blue Crab State -- doing so in a brutal battle against the wind and rain during World Wide Open VIII. It's his second WWO title.

After the presentation of the Red Jacket, Chuck was given the coveted WWO Plaque that will bear his name twice. Afterward, the past winners joined Nam to celebrate his victory and remember their own.

The players of the tour: Left to Right, Bill "The Mad German" Merryman (WWO 2006 Winner), Paul "Paulie" Switzer, Chuck "The Secret Asian Man" Nam (WWO 2003 and 2007 Winner), Nelson "The Assistant Commish" Cooney, Rob "The Canuck" Bowell (WWO 2001 Winner), Todd "The Commisioner" EauClaire (WWO 2002 Winner) , Eric "Sven" Newquist, Patrick "The Reverend" Ennis, Ray "The Falcon" Falcione (WWO 2004 Winner).

#8 was a memorable event gentlemen. The only thing missing was having Little Sanjy there for the entire time. It is an honor & privilege to participate in this storied and prestigious event. Congrats to Chuck on his second victory which was much deserved considering his consistency even during British Open conditions. Congrats also to ETrain and Isle of Man for finishing 2&3 while posting consistent strong scores. Next year maybe Chuck can arrange some low-cost but spectactular accomodations and golf in Phx!
